March 14 is...

...Water Breaking Celebration Day. Since that was the day that my water broke last year with Nathan, my parents (aka Gram & Grandad) and I decided to celebrate with pedicures for the gals and lunch at Infusion, just like we did a year ago...
They remembered my water breaking there and gave us the same booth - and a fabulous birthday dessert to share!
Messy (yes, that's a scoop of ice cream Nathan's holding)...but delicious!

Impending Toddlerdom...

It's coming. A few telltale signs...

(you don't want to know how many times a day I have to put that stuff back in the pantry.)

bowling with my homies.

Saturday night we ventured out and took Nathan to the bowling alley for the first time. There were plenty of new sights and sounds for him to discover.
Here's his Dad in action...
And our sweet rented bowling shoes.
After the game (I actually won!!!), we grabbed some dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Nathan sure is learning to do more and more on his own...
...but he still needs us, too!

What a little charmer he is!!!

Getting into everything...

Yesterday Nathan decided to climb into his toy box to really check things out...

And then later he climbed into his dresser drawer...

...which was perfect for pulling things out and throwing them on the floor.

I think it's time to put latches on the drawers!

Very. Merry.

Wow. Nathan's first Christmas has come and gone, and it was a great one. Here he is opening his very first gift - at the Stroller Strides gift exchange party.

And a few shots from Christmas morning...before my digital camera battery died...

Gotta love the snowflake PJs...

New York, New York...

...it's a wonderful town! We had such a blast in Manhattan over Thanksgiving weekend. We got in late Thursday and had some pizza at a very shady 24-hour deli... ...Friday morning my parents, Brian, Nathan and I walked (well, Nathan didn't walk) to Times Square and then jumped on a double-decker tour bus to see some sights...

We jumped off the bus and went to the Waldorf-Astoria...

...to use the restroom.

Then we met up with John and Katie; here we are in beautiful Cental Park...
And this was awesome...

Saturday we went to the Met, which was amazing, too. All in all, Nathan was a great little traveler...from the Upper East Side to Little Italy!

Trick Or Treat

Nathan just celebrated his first Halloween - there were costume parties all over, and that night he even did a little trick-or-treating with Sawyer. Here he is as a little shark!
His pal Owen was a shark, too...Halloween is fun!!!
